From Leah Fontaine, Indigenous Programs Manager, ACI Manitoba

Dear community member,

At the Indigenous Arts Program at ACI Manitoba, we work to assist artists by developing partnerships and training programs to make arts careers economically sustainable.

What we’re asking you today:

In order to better plan our arts education programming we can do, we need you to click on the link here

http://fluidsurveys.com/s/ACIIndigenousArtSurvey.

If you can please also FORWARD this email to people you know: Indigenous artists in your communities, band councils, organizations, and individuals.

How you and your community can benefit:

You will help ACI Manitoba provide the kind of training needed in the Indigenous arts community. In addition, ACI is offering you a one year, FREE membership in the organization ($25 value) in exchange for the 15-20 minutes it takes to complete the survey. Please respond by February 28, 2014.

The purpose of the survey is to determine the professional development needs of Indigenous Manitoba artists by establishing benchmark data and updating current knowledge of Indigenous artists so their training needs can be adequately addressed by ACI Manitoba. We expect as well to create a database of Manitoba Indigenous Artists. Please note that the data collection is in accordance with Canadian privacy legislation and with our own policy (link to the policy here) <http://www.creativemanitoba.ca/privacy-policy>.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns about the survey, please feel free to contact me at your convenience at 1.204.927.2787, at the toll free number below, or by email, This email address is being protected from spambots.
