STURGEON LAKE, Sask. – A man is recovering in a Saskatoon hospital after a hunting incident on Friday afternoon.
A group of four men were hunting on the Little Red River First Nation north of Lake Sturgeon, Sask. when one was injured in a shooting.
He was taken to Victoria Hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound and has since been taken to St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon where he is listed in serious but stable condition.
RCMP say the investigation is still in the preliminary stages and no charges have been laid.
