Models walk the runway during Woodland Cultural Centre's FashioNative fashion show on Monday night.
The "wearable art" exhibit celebrated both traditional and contemporary fashion, including works from designers Chessa Syrette, Sage Paul, Tracy Toulouse and Angela DeMontigny.
The show aimed to de-mystify the idea of First Nations fashion and the stereotypes surrounding it by showcasing the designers' uniqueness and diversity.
An exhibit featuring fashions from each designer will run in Woodland's gallery until April 18. Look for a story about the show and exhibit in this week's Brant News.
